Greetings! We wish you a very blessed New Year!
While I was in Colombia at the end of November and on into December, all went amazing. And in this month of January, I am looking forward to going back and preaching in our newly built church which is next to our radio station.
I love the fact that I can preach multiple times a day and no matter where I am, it can be put on all my stations in real time. Technology has really advanced in the last few years. I preach, usually over seven times a week, every single day, sometimes twice a day. Besides my radio services, I have a cell meeting, the church services, and my Indian Bible School. I am looking forward to having my Indian Bible School classes at the Marewa tribe beginning January 6th.
It was raining so much before I got to Colombia, that many of the houses along the Dique canal were flooded. The government converted the classrooms of an unoccupied school to house these people until the waters reside. There are about 100 people housed in this school. We went there to preach. The couple who shepherds my Colombian church are going there twice a week. The people are very receptive and almost everybody at the school facility comes to our church service. There have been many new converts from this ministry. We will follow up with this group of people when the waters recede and they go back to their houses. With our ministry’s truck we will be able to pick them up and take them to our new church building that we are currently constructing. Our church has grown quite a bit lately. I’m enclosing a recent picture.
The new FM radio station in Maracaibo is running smoothly. So now I have 7 radio stations, and I am looking forward to starting the 8th one soon. I am either constructing it in the Catatumbo area or I will put it in Riohacha, Colombia. In Riohacha I have some people who work with me who have a church.
I really appreciate your giving and prayers. Because of your giving I am able to support many families and individuals that work for me. Each month, I pay 9 families that work in our ministry, and 2 individuals that work in our ministry. I also pay 10 Indians leaders who go out and evangelize and disciple the mountain Indian tribes in Venezuela and Colombia. (These are the ones who travel through the mountains with our mules.) I am glad that I can help all these people fulfill their calls in the ministry. So a lot of your monthly support goes to supporting these individuals and families.
Here is a testimony that happened last month with one of the pastors who works for me. His name is Alfonso Matoya and he is from the Taremo tribe. I am getting him a mule because he is one of my leaders who travels trough the mountains evangelizing and discipling the different Indian tribes. Here is his dream:
“One Wednesday at 3:00 in the morning, I had a dream and saw what looked like a scroll. Books came out of that scroll. One was placed on the right side of the scroll and the other books were placed on the left side of the scroll. From two books many names appeared. One of the books was titled “The Book of Life.” The other book was titled “The Book of Death,” and in the Book of Death there were many names.
While looking at the Book of Life and the names that were there, I saw a vision of those who were in heaven who had their names written in the Book of Life. They were joyous, singing and clapping and raising their hands. A very tall angel in a very bright white gown said, “They have been rewarded for their faithfulness.”
Then I also saw where it said “The Book of Death.” I saw a vision of the people whose names were there. They were desperate, crying with uncontrollable sobs. They received what was due to them for their evil deeds done on earth.
When I woke up my face was full of tears- I was crying; it seemed so real. Then I heard a voice that said Revelation 20:12-15, John 5:28-29, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15. As I heard the voice, I immediately wrote down the Bible verses. I didn’t sleep anymore and then in the morning I looked them up.”

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
